Snow Day in March – REALLY????

We were in church one Sunday in March (It's been so long since I have written on my blog - I can't remember the exact date!) and they let us know to be prepared before we get the kids from Sunday school – the kids were going nuts because it was snowing REALLY hard!! This day was so crazy – it snowed all day. We probably got about 5 inches. It was so beautiful – I am so thankful we have gotten a good day of snow in Georgia this year and last year! One day is all I need. Last year it snowed in January. Our neighborhood had so much fun – we were all out in the freezing, super wet snow building snowmen, having snowball fights and making snow angels. We have a HUGE hill on our front yard – or maybe I should say our front yard is a huge hill. The one thing that was missing was a sled. The next day it was sunny and I had the bright idea – why don’t we use a laundry basket – well that didn’t work out so well for sledding but it was pretty fun trying! Ava enjoyed herself immensely – I cannot believe the amount of excitement over things that my child shows! I LOVE IT! Her enthusiasm and excitement is contagious – you can’t help but smile when she exudes those emotions!! We had a blast with her in the snow…….
