I think we have been having Halloween at our house now for 4 years?? All of Chad's family comes over for several pots of chili with all the fixins and the big Hayride around the neighborhood, followed by Trick or Treating! This year all of our friends and their kids came over too, we really had a full house but that is how we like it!!
We have had so much rain this year, we didn't luck out on Halloween. It rained just in time for the Hayride, so we had to put raincoats over the kids' costumes. It was also sooo cold. We waited awhile after the hayride was over and when the rain let up, walked around the neighborhood for Trick or Treating. I think everyone who lives in the neighborhood has the same idea with family over, because I have never seen so many kids walking around here. These are how memories are made!!! It is almost as much fun for us as Christmas!!!
