Ava is 4 today! Holy Cow!! We are on our way down to Destin for Chad’s family’s family vacation. I can’t believe it was four years ago! At the time I am writing this (5pm on her bday) I have been reflecting on the wonderful day she came into this world! She arrived at 11:12 pm!!
We have had a great birthday month so far…Ava’s pool party was on June 13th! She had about 28 kids at the pool celebrating with her. We had an amazing Cinderella cake made by someone in our neighborhood and lots of FUN!! That was a lot of kids – next year for number 5, we will have a much more intimate party. After her pool party we went back to our house and had a low country boil with all of Chad’s family and some of our friends. We busted out the slip ad slide and the kids had a great time (including Chad!!:) There were so many presents, we had to open the other half of them Sunday.
Every Friday night Ava and I try to have movie night. We watch whatever Disney movie comes on. Last night was the long awaited Princess Protection Program. This morning we woke up packed up the car and went straight to this incredible Cakery called Sugar Kneads. The new tradition I am starting with Ava is taking her to the cakery on her birthday to pick out whatever she wants and we eat it together! As soon as we get to the beach we cannot wait for our feet to hit the sand!!!
