Swim Lessons – Year 2 – June 15 – 19

My how far Ava has come! Last year for her lessons she did not really ever love the water last summer. She did what the teacher told her, but never really wanted to explore or push herself all summer long, she pretty much stayed on the stairs and didn’t want to go under the water. Well this summer it’s a whole different ball game, she learned to swim and she loves to swim on her own now!! She will jump off the side by herself, dunk her head under and kick like Buzz Light Year (that is what the teacher taught her). I still put her floatie vest on her if there are lots of kids in the pool, but give it another couple weeks and we will be home free! I am so proud of how brave she has become!
