We took an outing to the Children's Museum in Atlanta recently (about two weeks ago). We went down with Corrin and Syvon and Ashley, we love hanging out with that trio! Ava and Syvon have so much fun together and I always have a blast with Corrin and Ashley. The adventure started as we took a tour around Atlanta led by GPS, trying to find the museum. We are all pretty ditsy when it comes to directions so it was pretty funny. Chad and Brandon hung out at Atlantic Station and watched football games all day while we had fun at the museum. Ava loved performing on the little tap dancing stage and playing in the play kitchen with all the pretend food. This place is great - it is basically like an indoor playground with your kids with all kinds of stations and activities. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded that day, but there were still kids crawling everywhere. There is always some kind of exhibit for the kids to play around with and this time it was Bob the Builder, last time we went, it was Sesame Street. After we were done playing, we met the guys over at Fox Sports Grille and had a great dinner. The day was pretty successful until I was turning our tuck aound in a very tiny parking lot and OOOPPS - hit a curb with Chad's big ghetoo wheels and tires. Thanks God he wasn't in the car...took a chunk out of his tire and minorly scratche the rim... That truck is like a boat, you cannott see over the hood to save your life. My truck is much easier to drive, and there is no pressure to mess anything up!! We can't wait till our next outing downtown - that was soo much fun!!!
