YEAH!! Rex won his mayorial race again this year. It was a tight race, he beat his opponent by 24 votes. I guess all of our campaigning on foot this year really helped. We were all on pins and needles as we waited for the results at his party. As Rex took the phone call to get the results, Ava asked, “Did Paw Paw win his race?” He has really done a good job making changes in Lawrenceville the past two years and we are really proud of him. He enjoys public service so much. When Chad was in elementary school, Rex was a State Representative for a couple years down in Atlanta. At some point I’ll take some pictures of downtown Lawrenceville and post them because it is this little quaint area that has been mostly restored, and is a great place to eat shop and hang out with your family.
We can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the next two years Paw Paw!!!! We love you!!
