The week before Thanksgiving, Ava's class had a feast. I am room mom with another mom and we planned the whole thing. All the moms did great in bringing in the food and decorations!! We had quite a menu, mac and cheese, green bean casserole, rolls, turkey, pumkin chocolate chip muffins, fruit bowl and cheese and crackers. Of course we had tons of leftovers there were only 7 kids there that day. Two of the kids were already out with a stomach bug, and one child had something else ailing her... it is that dreaded time of year again when all the kids get sick and pass it around. Ava is finally getting over a really bad cold this week. Welcome to winter...Ava's class also has a Happy Birthday Jesus party in December, but we won't make it again this year because we'll be in Fl to see my brother!! Last year we missed it too because we were in Disney World. We are SUPER excited this year because my brother will be up here before, DURING and right after Christmas. We have not been able to spend Christmas with him since we moved up here.. He always graces us with his presence the day after so we can't WAIT!! We won't get to spend Christmas with "Miss M", his girlfriend, but we'll have plenty of special time with her when we go down in a couple weeks!!
