Our trip to Fl was non stop. The day after the party, we went to the Fins game. Kris surprised us and got us all t-shirts with our names on the back. He is the ultimate Dolfan!! This is the part I really hated for Chad to miss (besides seeing Kris graduate). The Dolphins games were such a huge part of our lives, he really would have enjoyed this. He had so much work in GA, he couldn’t make the trip with us, but we will for sure be back for another game next year.
Ava had a wonderful time this year, especially because one of Kris’s friends brought his little girl the same age. I don’t think Ava would have lasted through the tailgaiting and the whole game without her company!! The girls got their faces painted and spent a lot of time in the jumpy and cheered through most of the game. Ava kept shouting, "I'm the number one Dolfan!" The updated HD jumbo trom and the level of music in the stadium made the game even more exciting. It was great to catch up with other people I had not seen in YEARS – I love to reconnect with people and see the paths in life they have taken. I wish the stadium could have been that exciting when Natalie, Lisa and I were working for them, although we weren’t complaining then!!! It was just like another party all day.
As soon as we got in the car after the game – AVA was OUT!! Hopefully the next trip we will have a little more down time for her, but she had a blast!!!!! I can’t wait to go back to Florida. Although we love living in GA, we really miss the S. FLA vibe – and Kris!!
