Where does Jesus live?

After we were done praying tonight, Ava asked, "Where does Jesus live?". I replied Heaven and she said, "Where is Heaven", I said, "Way up above the sky". I was trying to figure out how to explain this to her in a way her bright little mind can understand. As we continued our conversation, she was telling me she wanted to drive there and visit him. I also tried to explain to her he lives in our hearts too. She asked me to open her heart so she could see him. Of course I told her that her beautiful heart was under her ribs so we can't open it up. I had her bend her head down so she could listen to him in my heart. I wish I could have a picture on her face after she heard my heart beating... She says, " I can hear him...and I said.., "He is always with us.... She proceeded to listen to all her babies hearts to hear Jesus in there too, but she couldn't - my explanation was, "because your babies aren't real people or animals. For now, she is satisfied with that answer, but this is her new quest to hear Jesus in everyone's hearts..What a beautiful thought.. She did have one more question before she went to sleep.. "Does Jesus have a family?" I wasn't sure how to answer for this, so I said, "Of course he does...Remember the books we were reading about Mary and Joeseph at Christmas, well they helped bring him into the world and God is his Daddy.... I love watching this beautiful mind work, and only can hope I will have some good answers for her as her curiosity grows....Being a mommy is the BEST!!!!
