Picking Out the Christmas Tree

This year we went to pick out our tree the weekend of Thanksgiving. We had to get a smaller tree because we put it in a different place in the living room this year since we had the built in bookcases built. It was absolutely freezing that night. Nanny & Paw Paw, Karla and John got a tree the same night. The farm is fun for the kids because they have a petting zoo and lots of blow up figurines. We finally decided on a tree..it worked out nicely this year because it took a lot less time to decorate and take down! We got the tree right after Thanksgiving and I didn’t even get around to trimming it until two weeks later!
